AFTER ALL THIS TIME - MERGE?

For those who think that the United States wouldn't possibly instigate another war in the Middle East, think again. Empowered by his "success" in the bombing of Libya and consequent assassination of Muammar Qaddafi, Obama is now seeking to use the exact same strategy against Syria, while using alarming military threats against Iran. In both cases the U.S. is creating the conditions for war in a region that is already boiling over from decades of U.S. backed dictators combined with past U.S. military aggression. In Syria, the Libya war formula is being implemented with precision: in the name of protecting "human rights,” the U.S. is enlisting the Arab League to open the gates for a U.S.-backed "coalition" of regional countries to implement a "no fly zone,” i.e. war. - OUCH!Global Research, December 31, 2011

Key players in Arab League: formed 1945; based in Cairo. Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Transjordan (now Jordan), Saudi Arabia, and Yemen; Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Algeria, Kuwait, Libya, , Oman, Qatar, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Militarization at the global level is instrumented through the US military’s Unified Command structure: the entire planet is divided up into geographic Combatant Commands under the control of the Pentagon. According to former NATO Commander General Wesley Clark, the Pentagon’s military road-map consists of a sequence of war theaters: “[The] five-year campaign plan [includes]... a total of seven counries, beginning with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan.” Like a cancer, the US war unleashed in 2003 on Iraq is mutating into a global disease.
When the state of Israel was created in 1948, the league countries jointly attacked it, but Israel resisted successfully. The league continued to maintain a boycott of Israel and of companies trading with Israel . Egypt's membership was suspended from 1979 to 1989 because of its treaty with Israel, and the league's headquarters were moved to Tunis. In 1988 the league endorsed the PLO's plan for a negotiated settlement with Israel, and in 1991 Cairo once again became its headquarters.

In 2002 the league for the first time offered Israel normal relations with Arab countries if it met certain conditions, but many of those conditions were not acceptable to Israel. The league has been united in its support for Palestine vis-à-vis Israel, but has come under increasing criticism in recent years for failing to do enough for the Palestinians and for Iraq. Egypt's treaty with Israel (the 1978 Camp David Accords) resulted in its suspension from the league from 1979 to 1989.

On November 9, 2011, I posted to my Facebook page this particualr notification:

"Unbeknownst to the American people about their governments plan to carve up the Middle East was that it was accidentally revealed in 2006 when a map showing the “new countries” to be made by the West was seen by Turkish military officers during a meeting at NATO’s Defense College in Rome and has given all of countries to be affected nearly 5 years to prepare for what is happening today. Though these people of the West are being fed propaganda leading them to believe that all of the events happening in the Middle East are due to oppressed people protesting for democracy they couldn’t be more mistaken as the truth is that all of the nations of this region have been preparing for years to “suddenly unite” in a massive war against the United States to throw off its oppressive yoke forever."

Lest we forget, again:
Islam as a threat to Israel

One hundred years ago, there was no threat of Islam against Israel, because there was no Israel. Today that has all changed, since the first of Israel’s creation, the Muslim nations have raged against it, threatening to send the Jews into the sea from the first day of their creation.
The origin of this rage against the Jews and Israel, dates back to the time Mohammad fled from Mecca to Medina. In Medina, the Jews rejected his claim of prophet, and ridiculed him. His rage against them transferred to the Quran, which was later transferred to all Muslims through the Quran. Muslims today, compose over 20% of the Earth’s population, 1.3 billion people.

Muslim nations surround Israel, and oppose their existence, even after loosing five major conflicts. Currently the great Islamic threat comes from Iran, which has openly called for the destruction of the Jewish state, while at the same time trying to develop nuclear capability.
